Yes, it's covered under comprehensive. Just paid a $1000 claim from squirrel eating underhood wiring on an Impala....

Personally, I had a squirrel knaw on the hard plastic outer covering on the air conditioner unit on my Blazer about 2 years ago.

comprhensive requires $250.00 deductible
therefore the offending critters are not off the hook
