IIRC you replaced your front and rear "U" bolts around the springs--Right--?

Do you know or remember what size (diameter) the front "U" bolts were, 5/8" maybe?

Been without 'net since 7/21. I think mine are 3/4"; the blacksmith at Tampa Spring fabricated them. It's raining now, or I'd measure.

I thought you might be away or sumthin'!

No worries, just curious, I got a complete set of "U" bolts, front and rear from Spartan and teh front bolts were 5/8 and mine are 3/4. I didn't check before I started to remove them so i could insert 4 degree shims, so I had 3/4 "U" made locally. the earlier Breakaways had Dana front axles and mine has a West port, so I thought that might explain the Spartan screw-up!

BTW, an extra 2 degrees sure has helped the "on center" feel, did some experiments with Michelin and Bridgestone tires, and have some interesting results. Will post test and results after I get back.
