Does anyone know if Barth located a paint code tag somewhere on their coaches? Our documentation binder indicates the paint on our 97 Monarch is Sikkens but includes no other information on the paint system used, colors, or codes.
Thanks,
Wally

I have a 1985 Barth Regency and my color codes are on a tag behind the front grill door located in front & above the generators radiator.
I had my Barth repainted after Hurricane Charley and they matched all the colors with the exception of one. One stripe that I thought was black, really was a very dark almost black burgandy. The paint shop advised it would cost more to have that color made than to just paint that stripe black to match the other black stripe.

It's funny how things are so different in the various parts of the country. Here in Oklahoma, we DO NOT deal with rust. Our vehicles still look almost new underneath. My daily driver is an all original, mint condition, 1983 Chevy Suburban, 55,000 miles and it still looks almost new underneath. I recently sold a 1987 Lincoln Town Car, 23,000 one owner miles, and the underneath of the doors etc...looked as nice as the top of the car. On that car, I had many calls from the Boston area who did not believe me when I said the car was rust free. I emailed a lot of pictures to prove it! I have sold several, all-original, collectable cars and most of the time, they go back East.

My Barth also looks as nice underneath as the top. Sometimes, we don't realize how good we have it....until we hear you all talk about having to deal with rusting frames etc.....

I too have not been able to obtain the paint code for my Barth. Do know that it is original since it left the factory. Was wondering since most of these coaches were painted alike with a few variations with the striping, is there a way to possibly create a file like the data tag forum in which owners who know their paint codes can list them and we could ease the access to what they were. Like many of you, would love to keep the old coach just like she was when it came off the assembly line. Thank to all the Barthmobilers. hmm
