There have been some discussions in times past about putting lap/shoulder belts in 'lap belt only' Barths. Well, I did it. Have a link to my imagestation album showing the process. Only took me two years to start it, two days to complete it. Procrastination is always a problem with me, never performance! LOL. http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2107394320 Dave, if you want to, you have my permission to save these to a better server or put them on your site if you think they would benefit anyone. The photos are captioned, hopefully they are self explanatory. Thanks for all your support. Hope this helps others! Nice job! The idea of an adjustable seat is making me reconsider just adding a shoulder strap to mine. Have you considered any reinforcement where the pedestal mounts to the floor? . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

Yes steatbelts work. I know. The Bonneville got hit in the rear pass side today by a F-150 Ford , I was spinning like a top. The good news nobody hurt. JKB JKB 88 28' Regal 454 Blue/Silver metalflake

Oh Dang! Glad you're OK. It wasn't a classic Bonneville, was it? . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

Hi Bill: Yes, I have considered that. Since I might change out the pedestals for a shorter one ( I am going to measure the pedestals in my conversion van) I am going to carefully explore how they are bolted up underneath. My recollection is they are bolted into some pretty substantial square tube steel spaceframe, that covers the engine compartment. I'll let you know.
