Partly due to this inspiring site, last Friday I picked up a beauty of a Barth, a 1979 24 footer that looks showroom new. It was built immediately after Lee's on January 30, 1979.

Here is Lee's tag# s7901 2603 MC24 FP3

That's a really nice looking Barth you have there. Congrats and many happy miles. I love the trailer hitch, looks like you could pull a railroad car with that!!

I hope it is mounted to more than just the bumper.

Wow!....No wonder my unit was bare aluminum....Your coach probably had the paint shop tied-up for that whole month!

Identical models, including floor plan ('cept I've got fixed dinette/bunk where your table & chairs are located)

I've been playing with mine for seven years now, so give me a shout if I can assist with any info.

Congrats on the find - it's a beaut !!

Happy Travels Tooling Along

Thanks for the positive comments. Thanks for the offer,Lee. I am an absolute novice at this RVing thing. We plan on using it as a party vehicle and doubt that we will ever spend the night in it. Sometime we will have to get our (almost) twins together.

Well, in that case, ya need to know that your screen door is a cumbersome ineffective piece of junk, but I'd be willing to take it off your hands to save you the trouble of having to throw it away...... Roll Eyes

Three of my best friends and I are forming a LLC with this vehicle. One of them (who also owns a limo) has a responsible nephew that we hire to drive us to places of interest.

From what you've described, I'm willing to wager someone will spend the night in it. The question will be, will they remember??? Wink
