If anyone has seen this Barth please contact the authorities. Sorry Gunner, I know I promised never to post stuff like this anymore! Big Grin

As stated last year, I have a recommendation for a campground? I stayed at the Sunsetview Farm Camping Area in Monson, MA in early May (2006), it is rated well and offers a close proximity to the Mass Turnpike. It is less than five miles from exit 8 (Palmer). Full hook-up's are around $30 - $35 per night. We might also get a safari field for a bit less.

Here is a link to the campground. http://www.sunsetview.com/

I am still willing to set up a get together for this season. Let's begin the discussion.

Back in the '60s I was a member of N.E.FMCA, and religiosly attended the rallys. I originated the Croton Point rally. I would be interested in attending if some of the old timers were there.

Hey gang, is there any interest in trying to arrange this gathering for 2007? I am planning a trip up that way this summer. It would be awesome to meet and camp with some other Barth owners and users of the Barth mobile site.. What do we need to do to start this gathering?

Mike,

I have tried, albeit, not really hard to encourage getting together. I have not yet managed to make it happen, but am still willing to do some planning if there will be a committment of at least five members.

There is a nice campground in the Worcester/Sturbridge area of MA, near routes I90 and I84 that is close to these major highways. It is the Oak Haven campground. Here is a link: http://www.oakhavencampground.com/. Their rates for full hook up should be around $35.00 per night.

If we start a discussion on possible dates, we may actually manage to pull this one off.

Matt, with your interest, that makes three Barthmobilers that will attend the camp out.

Do you have a preference for weekend date?

I'll through out three options. Weekends of July 27, August 3, or August10.

Thoughts and comments?

HI all,

We would love to attend. Because of Star Party Conventions we are not available July 12-15 and Aug 9-11.

Jim, are you an astronomer?

My Breakaway piles up most of its mileage going to star parties.

Because decisions need to be made, let's target the weekend of August 3,4,5 at the Oak Haven Campground.

Let's have some committments. I'm in and will make the reservations for the group in a couple of weeks if if we can get four or more Barths to committ to showing up.

If you'all will let me, I'll be there.
These dates are between local bluegrass festivals, and will give me the incentive to get the springs replaced as, I need to get the coach to pass inspection.
Post the reservation info please. Thanks all for getting this started.

Hi everyone,

The Oak Haven Campground will be at the February (16,17,18) camping show at the Big E grounds in West Springfield, MA. I will be attending the show and will set up the campout at that time.

Email me (click on the "Bill G" in my post and choose "public profile") if you would like to attend. I'll work with the campground (http://www.oakhavencampground.com/) to set aside the required campsites and you can contact them to take care of your reservations.

Perhaps we could consider including anyone who might be interested in buying a Barth. They could get a look at the different models that show up. I have a Regency, my friend has a Breakaway and if Jack shows up, he has a Regal. I think we should discuss this, so post you thinking on the subject.

Let's see how this pans out. It sure would be nice to get a few Barths together in New England.
