I'm doing some research on MH's prior to deciding on one. I've seen ad's for MH's with an 8.2L turbo detroit diesel in Barths and Foretravels. I can't seem to find much info on these engines. Do they pack much punch? How big (weight) of a MH w/toad can this engine handle?

i am not a big expert on this however, I believe that if you are talking the early 80's the 8.2 L was around 230 hp. However, I think they later pumped it up to 275 in the late 80's and early 90's.
