After 5 weeks here at Oak Haven, we will be leaving tomorrow morning, heading north. Plan to stay April 8 and 9 in Starke, Florida then on to Georgia for a few days with the Cagles.

It has been 90 degrees here for the last 4 days, getting a bit hot for me. OTOH, we got 8 inches of snow at home last night... head bang

Not in any hurry to get home, we will stop in Myrtle Beach, Greensboro, and eastern Ohio on our way home.

It has been really sunny and warm since we got to Florida mid Feb. I have enjoyed every minute.

Next winter we will head south for the Hillsborough GTG, then stay here at Oak Haven for Dec, Jan, and Feb. Still no plans for March.

Pulled into Starke KOA about 130, same site we had in Feb. No problems, coach fired right up, traffic was medium and fairly steady. The VW stayed right on our tail.

Wifi is much better here, I will get caught up on the site! It's cold here... only 64 degrees! ROTFLMAO

We'll be here until Tuesday, then off to Georgia to visit Nick and Donna for a couple of days.

We met Rusty for lunch Monday, got caught up on events. He is finally getting closer to done with the Irma repairs.

Always a good time to visit my Barth friends. We are heading to Georgia for a few days visit with the Cagles, another good time for sure. We intended to visit on our way south but Mother Nature and delays made for a straight ride to Florida in Feb.

I guess today we will leave Florida and our trip is technically winding down. A few more stops, hoping for weather to normalize at home. It was -1 there a couple days ago and 8 inches of snow... head bang

A great run so far.

We spent 3 nights at the hospitable Cagle RV park near Harlem Georgia. Sunny and 70's. We always have a great time with Nick and Donna no matter where we meet them. We are hoping they can fit a trip to Minnesnowta into their schedule.

Heading for Myrtle Beach today. We have friends who winter there and we will visit with them for a couple of days. On to Greensboro, NC after that. Some more old friends there to see for a couple days. After that we are hoping to visit bad boy Kevin and HelenJo for a few days. ROTFLMAO

From the looks of the weather in Michigan we may still be too early to return. More cold weather and snow for the next week or so, when will this end? I don't really want to have to winterize the coach again... head bang

Slated for BLIZZARD wind has been howling all night and intensifying. Snow is slated to start dumping mid morning and get 6" to 20" of concrete snow. Still looking on being on the edge so they are not sure of exact track. Have to go in to open the store. I might be sleeping in my office. Sure Steve just stay south, we here in Iowa are to get 2-4 inches of the white stuff today, not as bad as the upper popsicle, but it is mid-April for crying out loud.

Yeah sure Steve! Not rubbing it in.

I just lead a caravan to our town from work to make sure they made the trip safe. They are going to keep the store open till 4pm to get every one home safe. At least it is no longer Friday the 13th.

Me too. Had to move the snow rake (no, really, I have one) to get to the transfer switch.
