I have noticed that the Avatars seemed to be really small compared to other websites. I when through my zillions of options and found that I had limited us to Avatars the size of an ant. I changed that so now we can actually see that coach of yours.

Note;. you may have to change to to a larger picture.

Dave, I shoot4.4mp [3:2] because that is what Kodak recommends for Easyshare printer dock printing. How does this size up to the site?
Now to show how really stupid I can be, what is an Avatar? The pic that goes with the post maybe?

Before the Avatar, that's the thing under your signature was limited to 48 x 48k, that's really small. My sig now is 148 x 70 something. So if we can stay under the 150 x 150 size then we should be able to see everything and no overwhelm the page.

A point of reference. The picture of my Barth below right is 98x72 pixels. The picture of the moving truck is 147x70 pixels and the mechanic Avatar below is 48x48 pixels.

Dave, your Avatar is bigger then you think, it's 149x83 pixels. To check the size right click on any picture and look at the dimensions.

At 150x150 it will be this big. Could it be a little too big for an Avatar?

I said

and it is actually 149 x 83? Just goes to show my short term memory is faulty. I recall looking at the size and going strait to write it and thinking, now what was that again? That explains the "70 something" statement.

Before I made the changes my Sig was 48 x 48 and I felt that was too small.

what is an Avatar?

It is a stringed instrument with a very long neck and multiple strings, cousin to the Sitar. Dave sometimes plays it at jam sessions when he wants to wow the crowd.

It might just be me but, I'm having a hard time reading posts when the members AVATAR picture is so large that it causes me to have to scroll to the right to read their reply. Is this because I have a standard screen and not a wide view SVGA screen?

I don't want to sound like a wet blanket but, what happened to Dave's request on AVATAR SIZE? I thought it was reasonable, Dave stated "So if we can stay under the 150 x 150 size then we should be able to see everything and no overwhelm the page". Which, is what's happening now.

I know sometimes there are pictures that push us past the normal confines of viewing, and scrolling to the right is inevitable, but to do that for an avatar is ridiculous.

Respectfully, may I suggest that the AVATAR stay around the 150x150 or lower and if you want a larger picture of whatever it should be in your signature profile.

I am the latest non-comformist in the Avatar size. When I went to upload, there was no suggestion. Ours is 340 x something right now but I will shrink it tonight.

"1994 [SovereignI]Sovereign[/I] 37' Widebody on Spartan MM Chassis."
Sometime back on a Monarch thread I raised the question "Was there a 'Sovereign'; if so, what was it? or did I dream a memory of the name?
Question answered by this post. There was/is one, and I'm not nuts. Big Grin

Billy T talked about his Sovereign a while back on this thread...

Just a little bit more reading.

Hi BillyT, I don't have any pictures of Sovereigns in my Barth Coach library. Do you have any more images of your coach inside and out that I can include there. And here's the biggy, I have never seen a brochure or magazine ad for one. Do you have any of that material??
