I tend to stick with The Olde Things That Work, however, recently I've discovered a couple of items that I now happily use because they really work:

1. Reynolds non-stick aluminum foil. Really works!

2. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Best way to clean the shower and stainless steel sinks.

In either case the idea is quite staggering.

I'll vouch for #1. NOTHING sticks to it - not even burned chicken wings. Kind of makes you wonder what's on it doesn't it? hmm

I'll vouch for #2... or at least my wife will. She LOVES those Magic Erasers! For cleaning almost anything and pesky stains. We even buy the knock-off Walmart brand and they are just as good for home, RV, garage, anywhere.

A pick of mine for home/RV: Windex glass cleaner. The others just don't seem to clean as well. And I generally love store brand stuff and don't support the name brands based on name alone, so that says something right there!

Here in Arizona, we are in the midst of the monsoon season, which means high humidity and bugs. No matter how hard we try, they get in the coach.

For year, we have used a Country Vet Classic Automatic dispenser to shoot a fine mist of pyrethrin spray every fifteen minutes. It is non-toxic and not too bad smelling.

NO BUGS.

An under seven-dollar can lasts a month if it is turned on 24/7. We just turn it on when we go inside after our star and moon and lightning show. We turn it off after half an hour or so, so a can lasts almost forever.

They are often sold locally at feed stores, too.

Another product that works as advertised is the Endless Breeze 12 volt box fan, made by the Fantastic Fan people.

On hot boondocking nights, we position it to blow into the bedroom, and we are quite comfortable without air conditioning.

This will do until I cut a hole in the bedroom roof and install a ceiling vent fan that blows cool outside air downward on us.
