Hello, my name is Cheryl Bradford. My father left me a 1988 Barth Regency Gil. I tried to drive it although it’s a bit too large for me. My intentions is to sell my father’s RV. I would really want it to go to someone who knows about Barths, and would take good care of it. It is absolutely beautiful. I believe it needs a new paint job I would say or a good polishing. I’ve had some done work on it. All new tires, batteries, and some maintenance. It does needs some TLC, new vents, curtains ect, things like that. I just really don’t know how much to sell it for. My dad always said that the CAT engine is in very good condition. Something good to know is when it was bought by the very first fire I have that receipt it sold for $200,000. I have all the specs that go with it the blueprints ect. I wanna ask $14,000. but do you think that is too much to ask? If someone could let me know what a Barth is worth I would truly appreciate it.
Cheryl

Good morning Cheryl, first thing, condolences on the passing of your father.

I would recommend searching the following for guidance:
The Barths for Sale page on this site.
RV Trader website
The general internet

There are great folks on Barthmobile that may have some insight.

The Barth is a niche, high-quality product with a loyal following so finding someone who “knows what you’ve got” will definitely be a plus.

In my opinion $14,000 seems low but without seeing it and knowing its equipment and specifications it’s impossible to tell.

Be patient and check to see if someone else can offer you some advice.

Good luck,
Billy
