We lost another Barth lover. Jim was not a member of our site, however he attended many of our get togethers and spend his winters in a campground in Florida near SteveVW and Liz. Attached is his obituary. He and his spouse loved their Barth it was I believe one of last units manufactured by Barth. He will be missed by those of us who had the good fortune to know him!

Rest in peace Jim, it's been a long time since we met you and Joann. Condolences to the Roller family.

I met Jim and his wife at a GTG in Michigan many years ago.

Simply being a fellow Barth owner was enough for Jim to give me a beautiful wooden writing pen he had hand-crafted. The pen will continue to sit on my console as a reminder to be as kind to others. Thanks again Jim.

I also recieved one of Jim's beautiful pens at a Hillsborough GTG. We learned early on that politics would not be part of our conversation and got along fine. Last time I saw Jim was at Steve VW Florida home. Barth Heaven is filling up way too fast, but what a gang we'll have waiting for us!

I should have mentioned the hand made beautiful pens he gave away at the GTG's. I have two, he insisted I take another at one of the GTG's. I use it all the time and every time I use it a memory is triggered, Thanks Jim!!
