Last year we rented a house we bought for an investment to these great people from Indiana, but now we rented that house on a year lease. These great folks called to see if they could rent the house and I suddenly realized we could just rent them our house and go exploring with the RV. So the question is, where would we go for Jan and Feb?
I thought somewhere far south like Ft Meyers area for Jan then Disney FT Wilderness for two weeks and then closer to home for the last two weeks.

It doesn't need to be Ft Meyers, just south and not in a busy, busy place. I need to be within 1.5 hours of an airport though.

Any ideas.

Corey:
If you folks above the Tampa line want to come south, please learn how to spell the names of our cities. The correct spelling Fort Myers.....And be sure to remove your shoes before entering the city..............

And here I didn't think anyone in Ft Myers even owned a pair of shoes hmm

I used to spend a lot of time down at Marco Island and we had friends with a condo in "The Mushroom" on the beach. Fun city you have there, but the traffic on the road by the beach made me wonder if I was in Manhattan at times. Love Edison's cottage.

You could stay at Travelers Campground just off I-75 exit 399 and visit the parks at Ichetucknee, the Santa Fe, and Devil's Millhopper. Paines Prarie and Micanopy are nearby, as is the Waldo Flea Market.

High Springs RV Park (exit 404) should be ignored, as it's tight for 32'.

just check out " Nature Coast", Florida there are a lot of places to stay and not all are "resort" prices. If you have a towd you can enjoy much, as well as about 100 golf courses in the area.

Dick,
We live here on the Nature Coast, in Spring Hill. If we leave for Jan/Feb we will need to go way south, so Ft Meyers, Naples, Marco, Lake Okeechobee are in the running.

Lenny's Shady Acres tip looks pretty cool.
