Things are changing in Texas for next year's events. Won't know more for awhile it seems. The April event has been cancelled and not sure if the May event is still on. IF May event is cancelled, we probably will be MIA!

More later

Looks like about 142 days til GTG. If I put away $1.00 a day that should cover gas cost for the trip. If I put away $10.00 a day mite cover wifes shopping in Elkhart,Goshen, Middleberry and Shipsawana. All who wander are not lost.

Wish my fuel bill would be that cheap, add another zero and that would cover it. It doesn't matter I will be there for the once in a lifetime opportunity to share the 50th Anniversary of Barth with you all.

Barth employees will be recruited again. Lou has several new contacts, including several of the employees who came last time. He is also working to get our GTG in the local papers and community event listings.

In 2012 Lou contacted Barth's granddaughter to get the family involved but plans to include more employees to get the word out this time.

The employees I spoke to last time were very pleased to be invited. Greg, the welder who did my hitch and other parts, proudly showed his work to his son. I had lunch with Susan who worked at Barth for many years, she was a pleasure to meet. She will be the primary employee connection this time, I think.

All in all, this should be an excellent event! cheers

I hope that Stinky Daddy has plans for a 50th Anniversary t-shirt design (hint-hint)!

It is outstanding that we are able to meet with the people responsible for building such a well built vehicle. The days of pride in workmanship are slipping away for sure.

Looking forward to being a part of this celebration!

Yeah, and if you multiply your number Bill by 4 that would be our round trip miles!

Happy New Year ALL

Bill(StinkyDaddy) when you finalize the Tee-Shirts can you design a name badge for the lanyards. Don't know about all you but I have trouble remembering who everyone is and am not afraid to admit it. You design it and we will get them printed ahead of time so it is easy and ready. We could make up some blank ones to use for the Barth Folks and write them in. What do you think?

Stinky Daddy, I knew we could count on you (as always) for an outstanding shirt design.

Ed, we all hope that you can make it to the GTG as it won't be the same without you.

To all of the "new" people that are coming to the GTG, you will not be disappointed.

I have the lanyards and holders for the Name tags. Bill is more artistic than I. All we need is a snazzy Barthmobile design. Look forward to seeing you all again and meeting the new additions!
