I saw this trailer at a farm auction in the MS delta. Petal is small community in central MS. The unit had 3 shower heads and one lavatory with hot water and a generator, no bathroom facilities, & no windows. It was about 20ft long and looked to be fairly original except for an added generator, added plumbing and added power outlets on the outside.
Has anyone ever seen anything like it? I know that Barth made some special offices etc but have never seen anything like this. The inside is just one open area with some storage cabinets. It still had the original leveling jacks.

Just when you thought you'd seen it all…

The variations of Barths seem endless. I wonder what this was used for, decontamination or just plain hot and sweaty after fighting a fire? I wonder how old it is. Barth mostly quit trailers by 1970 but this one looks much newer style. hmm

Just came across this while searching for Barth on the Internet. Never thought I would see this trailer, again. It was originally acquired by a hospital in Joliet, IL around 1997-1998 for use as a temporary decontamination room while their emergency department's regular decontamination room was being renovated. I believe/assume they custom ordered it brand new. Once they were done with it in 1999, they donated it to the agency I worked for. We used it for our hazardous materials response team. But, it turned out to be very cumbersome and impractical to move and use. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, we donated and transported it to a fire department in Mississippi. They were in need of facilities to shower, as many of their homes and infrastructure were compromised.

It was originally painted white, but it's very clear this is the same trailer. They must have added the two rails on the back and mounted a generator. But, the electrical connections on the back were original.
