1972 Barth ‘L’ Class A 22’ motorhome
Vintage RV renovation project, or could be converted to a tiny home
Aircraft grade aluminum body in very good condition. Interior needs renovation, but could be usable as is after a deep clean. Needs work to be drivable.

Original CA blue license plate 523HOV; 79883.5 miles.
Clear CA title lists it as a ‘HOUSECAR’.
Has half-size 3 way fridge, roof AC, and two original Barth owner’s binders with info on the Barth itself, as well as it’s usual and unusual amenities.

Chevrolet PE 31442 Motorhome Chassis; 350 cubic inch V8; Turbo hydramatic transmission

Sidewall metal made from ,040" Alçoa Tonecore over Barth patented* method of construction featuring interlocking, aircroft riveted, .062”
aluminum extrusions. Roof metal of one piece .032" oluminum. Insulation in oil walls and ceilings

Prior owner removed stove / oven and replaced with a bench seat with storage underneath for his mother in law as they cooked mostly outside, on a small propane tabletop device.

New oil pan & valve cover gaskets were installed along with fresh oil and filter just before driving it to where it’s been stored; but It’s been there a good while. A couple of broken bones and 4 surgeries in recent years pretty much ended my ability to do anything beyond store it.

Must sell or remove from current location by July 1st. Currently registered PNO, but with a 1 day permit it can be legally towed to a new location.
Needs to be towed due to deteriorated rubber in the motor mounts, old tires, etc.
Will consider all offers.

*U.S. Patent No: 3.282,603
