| Hello NC Barth, I've learned in my life that at anytime any individual who displays a Chris Craft Commander in his avatar, offers advice, best heed it. Six years ago I was in the same situation as you describe, except both my speedometer & the tachometer were faulty. After screwing around with both for awhile, I linked to the Speed Hut website, ordered a speedometer & matching tach & was able to chose my own design which harmonized with our dashboard. The speedometer was controlled by GPS & not a cable or wire. They even set the correct mileage at my request, and I couldn't be happier with their appearance & performance over the last five years. However, as I recall, it wasn't exactly a nickel/dime solution. Good Luck, John |
