Jim, they said they checked the switch on the dash and on the gen set. doesn't yours have a switch in the bedroom also? I did notice on my breakaway, that the gen set starts off the house batteries. the other day, my gen set wouldn't even turn over, I started the diesel engine and 60 seconds later I could start the gen set.

Does it sputter some before it shuts down? If so, when did you last change the filter, which is,located in front of the gen set? I put s liquid propan filter before the crappy filter Kohler used. The original filter is small and clogged often.

The tech has it running now. The house batteries were dead and when they put a newer shop battery in, it started and ran. Still needs a tune up an new muffler but it's running.
