Has anyone changed the blower motor on a Hydra-flame furnace and is it a tough job?

Don, I started that project twice. At the end I decided to replace one furnace, & later removed the second one to have the motor replaced by someone else.

If I had a fully equipped shop (which I once had, but no longer) I might have tried it. There's a lot of wires & sheet metal in the way. I doubt I'd try it in any circumstance without removing the furnace from the coach.

Then again, someone younger & more flexible than I might find it no problem.

My advice is take a look, & decide for yourself the cost/benefit ratio. In my case, though I hate to pay someone else to do something I would normally do myself, the hassle factor has begun to outweigh the $ factor.
