I think that when I re-configure the dash, the Barth needs a larger steering wheel. It is not that it needs it of couse, but that I need it....(always wanted one of em). Are these things universal or is it a major project to change? Thoughts?

The PO of my bus put in an aftermarket wheel which is ok but i prefer the looks, size, and feel of an original steering wheel. Thought i was going to have to get one out of a semi truck but found one in a bus of my model that is in canada and going to be parted out soon, and i have dibs on it. One or two things that i have learned about steering wheels is that you have to know how many splines are on the shaft, the diameter of the shaft and whether it is tapered or not. With the wheel i am supposed to be getting i no longer have to be concerned with any of that now. Just don't know what the cost will be yet, saw an old style Kenworth wheel that had never been used and had only one small nick on it go for $225 on ebay a few weeks ago.
