I have a 88 33' gmc barth. I was running my gen and both a/c's when the gen quit running. So I shut off both a/c's fired the gen back up turned on the a/c's and the front one will not come on now. Does anyone know what or where the breaker or fuse for the a/c is? Do they even have them? Thanks Roy

There's a breaker on my genny that cuts off the rear half the 110v system if I overload it. I wasted a lot of time trouble shooting before I discovered that fact. Look for breakers on the genny itself. That could be your problem.

Just like Olroy said.

Your breakers (for generator) are located on the side of the genny. There are two switches or push buttons that need to be reset. Just flip them on and off and fire off your generator again. Chances are good that you have lost HALF of all electrical on the 120v side.

This happens if you shut the Air Conditioner off and then tried to turn it back on right away. The A/C unit is charged and your compressor is trying to restart again under a load.

The circuit breaker popped. Just reset and start using again. Try not to turn off your A/C unit unless you let it sit for about 5 minutes before trying to use it again.
