Thanks Maureen - it is a 1989 Royale - and it is the aluminum colored paint at the top curve (the Royale has more of a curve than the other models) and it looks like a large drip - I will take photos of it today - might be a good day for it as it is overcast and I can likely get a decent photo with my digital today. I will also look for paint numbers plates around the suggested areas from the other replies. I think if I call a paint store - or a body shop they might have a suggestion for painting aluminum successfully. This is not the colored paint but the aluminum colored paint.
