There is a thread here that was posted by Steve VW on his front brakes. Not quite as old as yours, but real good basic information. Try a search for brake, brakes, calipers, or just try searching the year you are working on.
I am sure Steve VW will have a suggestion also.

The early smaller coaches had lighter brakes than my 86 tag coach. Mine has discs on front and drive axles, 19.5 inch 10 lug rims.

Some older ones have 8 lug smaller wheels and drum brakes in the rear. Last time I checked, the rear drums are totally unavailable. One of the threads here discussed machining other drums to fit.

check this: https://www.barthmobile.com/eve...653981387#9653981387

and this: (Flathead may have part numbers you can use.)

As for front end, it is similar to mine but smaller discs. I think they are still available.

Let us know what you find. Thumbs Up

Thank you all. The brake system is a front disc and rear drum. The rear system is fine. The front rotor is a 14 inch diameter. I am going to contact Wilwood and/or another manufacturer to see what upgrades if any are available.
I replaced the 454 engine twice, rebuilt the original and that did not work, ended up buying a crate 454 and it is working beautifully. Went in through the door.
