I'm thinking of replacing those old purple lens tail lights with the new LED type lights. A fellow at CW said that I will need a circut board of some sort. Anyone know of what he is talking abut? Dennis

LEDS on the flasher circuit will give the flasher relay fits. This happened when I added lights from a new trunk I installed. The turn signals flashed real fast. An easy fix was to install an electonic flasher relay, problem solved.

Superbrightleds.com all ready have the boards in them, just buy the 1056 and 1057 put them in .You will lose your cruise control. Some where on the brake line you will have to put in a light 1057 and socket . The cruise works on the draw of voltage from the bulb.
