I have discovered the aluminum skin under the 1965 travel trailer I am restoring has some areas where it appears to have corroded. Is there a way to replace this corroded aluminum without taking the trailer off of the frame?

Please also send your photos to:

barth_upload.61972@uploads.photobucket.com

from an ordinary email attach your photos, and put "test" in the subject line exactly as you see it without the quotes.

When you have sent your photos then I will show you how to post the photos. Together we will save Rusty a lot of work by sending pictures to the the photobucket.

Pick a point where you would like to rivet in new aluminum. Cut it off. Then check the frame underneath. Here is how some of my framing is rusted.

First fix the framing and then you can rivet new aluminum to the frame.
