Our 93 Regency has a Power Tech diesel generator. It will start and run normally using the start switch in the coach. You cannot shut the generator down from inside. The only way to shut it down is at the remote start/stop switch mounted on the generator. I am guessing there must be an open wire from the inside switch that doesn't ground out the circuit. Anybody had this problem. Know what color wire I should be looking for from the switch to the generator? Need help.

Well I figured it out. Happen to have the manual that came with the generator, so thought I would look for an installation wiring diagram. Sure enough there it was, black wire in the middle post is shut down ground. Checked for continuity and wire was open. Ran new wire from inside switch to middle post on remote switch. Works just like like a dream.
