Nice job Dana... is there a carrier of some sorts that you have mounted to keep it stowed while underway or is it just the mounting bracket that we see here?
I wonder whether the vibrations of driving down the road might cause it to swing out on you.
A possible suggestion for a holdown if you don't have one. You might want to mount 2 of these, at 12 & 6 o'clock, when it is in the stowed position.
The simple act of pushing the tv back would give you a resounding click when it is locked into place.
quote:Make sure you know if the batwing has a power booster. It will be somewhere in the antenna line between the antenna and the tv. It has a switch and a little red light to tell you when it's on. Powered by 12v. If it's not on or loses power you won't have any signal.
Good looking install!
