My autofill valve is not working, I would like to replace it. The one on there is a model #7008B I can buy the exact replacement on but it shows to be for LP gas. Is that correct?

There are many types of these available, yes, they are able to handle many types of fluids. Ours had a different brand but I took it apart and cleaned and resealed it , it was a mechanical issue not electrical.
