Haha I can picture that!!

I removed the steering damper and it is shot, has resistance when you move the shaft in and out but when you stop in any position you can move it rapidly back and forth with no resistance.

I ordered a Bilstein (seems to be the recommended brand) damper #24-026451 from ShocKWarehouse for $101.00 shipped. Everything else checks OK.

I took my '77 (p30) to a(truck) brake and wheel company...he replaced the spring/air bellow front suspension with a commputer designed coil spring and replaced the bell crank, major front end, favorable responce.





#1 29' 1977parted out and still alive in Barths all over the USA
