I have a 1993 Barth Regal 25' on a chevy P30 chassis. When I bought her and drove it home(1100 mile first trip) I noticed the headlights on High beam will trip a breaker and reset then trip again ..... I do not believe it is the switch as the High beam indicator does not go out. Does anybody have a P30 wiring schematic of the headlight system? The next step is trouble shooting with my Fluke meter, that gets deep fast.

Good morning, I posted a P30 manual on the Barthmobile many years ago. You should be able to locate it with a little searching.

Headlamps are equipped with a self-resetting breaker so get a clamp-on DC ammeter and test the draw on the circuit and compare it to the value of the breaker.

Good Luck!

I have seen that people have posted the headlight switch is from a Buick Regal. The Buick Regal switches I had delivered did not have bolt on mounting tabs. The 87-95 Jeep Wrangler looks to be very close, at least it has mounting tabs. anybody recognize this as a Jeep part?

The last view. And no I can not seem to make the 285 8007 come up as anything.

Update: The Jeep switch functions but is to wide for the Dash bezel. I have now found a 1994-1999 P30 switch OEM Factory Headlamp Switch GM #19245090 AC Delco #D1590D I have ordered one of those for my 1994 P30.
