Plugged the 93 Breakaway into shore power last night and let it run over night. This has the standard converter and 2 stage battery charger tender that came with the unit. The house batteries are coming up nicely, now reading 13.02. But the engine batteries are reading 12.45, just what they did at 11PM last night when I went to bed. What would this mean?

It means your converter is working properly and your chassis battery appears sound. The converter doesn'r charge the chassis battery.

Yes, they are Wayne. After reading the directions Red Face, they say that when you are plugged into shore power the battery charger will charge the house batteries but not the engine batteries, that only the alternator will charge the engine batteries. Guess a long ride is in store.

12.45 isn't bad at all for the charged chassis battery. A nice long run never hurt any RV... it's what they're made for! Tooling Along

(You can always use a generic charger if you sit for too long)
