The low voltage alarm was on in the Barth this morning. My meter said the new house batteries were at only 4-5 volts. The Intellecharger was plugged in. I took the fuse out of the solar panel over my door and the voltage meter went up to 12 volts. My multimeter said the batteries were still down so I flipped my battery isolater switches and put a computerized charger on the house batteries. They are slowly charging and are at 67% right now. Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks. R.P.Muise 1994 Breakaway/Cummins 5.9/Allison transmission/Spartan Chassis

I HAVE ONE! Maybe your solar panel was in reverse and your batteries were sending EMF back to the sun. IMHO #1 29' 1977parted out and still alive in Barths all over the USA

Maybe the sun switched polarity! Actually, a ground went bad and the intellecharger had a nervous breakdown. Cost me only $30.00 to get it fixed! R.P.Muise 1994 Breakaway/Cummins 5.9/Allison transmission/Spartan Chassis

My inverter/charger warns of leaving it on with other inputs (genset running with engines operating) as they will result in discharge.
