We were out checking the fall leaves out over the weekend in Pa. and the temp. got down in the high 30's. When I turned on the furnace it seemed as though 99% of the heat went in the bedroom and the rest of the coach wouldn't warm up.With the thermostat in the front the frunace wanted to run all the time. Has anybody else had this problem? 2 registers on each end of couch but little heat comes out.

It sounds likely that the duct to the front registers are pinched or obstructed. I'd suspect someone put a load under the sofa and crushed the ductwork...my Breakaway is a 28', so there may be somewhere else on yours that the ducting could be mashed - the ducts are very fragile to deforming from the outside.

Another possibility is, of course, that the ductwork has becme detached from the furnace airbox.

I had the same issue but the thermostat was in the bedroom and the rest of the coach was not warm at all when the furnace would shut down. I later found that the furnace had a leak in the combustion chamber and replaced it with a two stage furnace.

When I pulled the old one out, the first thing I found was the duct going by the sofa was crushed because when they slid in the sofa, they forgot to cut out the relief for the duct!! The marking was still on the sofa end piece for the cut out! Had no air from the front vent at all, just a bit warm, Then I found, after talking with the furnace people, you need 48 square inches of duct (4-4 inch ducts) minimum for a 35K BTU furnace, I had three (36 square inches)! 1 to the bedroom, right off the back of the furnace and had the most airflow, 1 to the front of the coach which was blocked, and one to the galley cabinet at the rear of the sofa. I had a 2 inch line to the toilet area but that size doesn't count for the square inch area total. It is no wonder that the combustion chamber had developed a leak! The furnace was hung from the side of the coach and had no support under the furnace so it had popped several rivets on the outside door.

All in all it was a VERY poor design and implimentation, was not to the furnace manufacturers spec and installation was sloppy! I suspect that you have a similar issue, and as Rusty has mentioned a duct has been pinched or mashed or could have holes in it somewhere along the run, I found a few of those as well!

I now have the thermostat in the living area, added a fourth duct (three to the main area) and the temperature is very well balanced thru out. Being two stage is only comes on at low heat, the only time it runs at high is when first turned on and will go to low heat when the temperature get to within 3 degrees of the thermostat setting.
