battery isolator?

hi everyone,
my battery isolator has three posts. labeled, batt 1/ alt / batt 2. the middle post (alt) has an orange wire also. it has been cut and im goinjg crazy trying to figure out where it goes.any info would be greatly appreciated.

hmmmm, my voltmeter is working.i thuoght it might tie in the house batteries with the chassis battery? any other possibilities?

patrick: Look at post from BB Barth ,Tech Talk. Topic; Canadian Barth owner needs rebuilding help, dated July 01,2005 06:45PM. The last post is from Danny Z ,it shows a great diagram of wiring ,the wire from the Chassis Battery to the Isolator is orange on mine. Hope this helps. Do you have a Emergency Start Stitch on yours? JKB
