I'd either put the bed on hinges or make drawers for underneath it. Lots of storage space there!

We put the top of our bed on hinges and gas struts. Works great.

Storage is a problem. Were still working on finding places for things. We had a trailer that had the hinge and struts on the bed. When I put in the [real] queen mattress it was too heavy to use.

The heater is running now. It is an atwood 2334 which is variable speed and dual output. 23000 or 34000 depending on the thermostats needs.

Here is the 2-stage thermostat on the wall.
I still need to run the duct work.

We have also added 36" tall plywood all the way around the Barth. I have started the trim. We hope to stain it tomorrow and put the finish coat on the next day.

The trim is finished and the stain applied. I'm waiting another day to put on shellac.

I'm trying to match the birch cabinets. My pine plywood and hemlock trim will be close using a water based latte stain and a amber shellac.

Thanks StinkyDaddy. Well, I didn't get a color match like I had hoped. It does look good so I'm moving on to the next project.

Thanks Bill.
Today we put foam and white vinyl around the bed frame.

This is the front with built in doggy step. The opening is for air return for the heater and for storage space.

This is the back view.

Today I finished the duct work for the furnace.

This is the hole for the duct that feeds the holding tank compartment. I was surprised to find 2" foam in the floor.

This is Daisy's doggy step. We still need to put carpet on it.

That's some really nice work you've done. I hope the little furry friend appreciates your effort.
