After a great rally , we are making our way home . There were several Bird owners who were familiar with Barth. It was definitely a hit at the rally. It gets good comments everywhere we go .

Three more days until we get back home . Next trip will be the second week of November. Going to Arkansas to Jeep around the mountains watching the leaves change color

White is a color! Currently in northern Wisconsin with family. It’s snowing with a 20 mph wind and 27 degrees. Leaves were at peak yesterday. Great drive over. Cards and tasty adult beverages.

Cleaned up the tail light wiring and switched to LED lights . Added a turn only circuit while I was there . I used trailer junction boxes to tie everything together.

We'll add reflectors under the lights , maybe extra tail lights in the future .

Where and when are you guys off to on this trip?

It will be a short trip for five days to Kirby Landing on Lake Greeson in Arkansas.
Hopefully we'll head out March 29th.
We haven't been anywhere since November

Time to rotate some tires

Glad to see some folks hitting the road even with fuel prices like they are. Enjoy the trip, hope ole 71 is on the road soon and I can do the same.

Generator update . The generator install on the trailer didn't work out. With the rear mounted radiator too much heat was directed at the generator and it would overheat . Worked fine stationary, but overheats running down the road.
I was able to get the onboard Dometic Kyawatt generator running smooth and replaced the leaking exhaust system . It works great now .

The generator on the trailer was good in theory , but just wouldn't work in reality. We'll just call that a failed experiment

The coach made the trip up with no problems . Yesterday the weather was a little rough with heavy rain , hail and high winds . The tornadoes missed us by a few miles . One tried to form over our head , but moved on to the east before dropping down . Being trained storm spotters , we had a close eye on the storms . We took the Jeep down some Forrest Service roads in the Ouachita Mountains and got it a little dirty .

Sure Harold rub it in! This was my view this morning. Heart attack snow heavier than cement. We are hoping to let solar clear this round if I can get out with the truck.

Cat says she remembers the Minasnowta March weather all too well .

On the plus side it's a comfortable sunny 73 degrees here in Arkansas

In Georgia it is only 86 today. Time for shorts and the yard needs mowing.

Sure rub it in Nick. Glad to see your response. No lawn mowing here for a while. Supposed to get maybe to 50 in a week or so……………………….. we will see

We spent a few days in Booneville Arkansas visiting friends . The coach performed well , we just took it nice and slow up and down the steep hills on Arkansas 27 . Going slow doesn't really bother us , if we are in the coach then we aren't in a hurry

Looking forward to making many more trips in the near future

Seems like your pup was a pocket dog last we saw it. It’s grown up. Glad your getting out. I have trouble slowing down ever!
