I have three leather seats and a leather dash. Anyone recommend a leather cleaner that actually works? I have a couple of good leather conditioners but I have yet to find something that actually cleans leather.

Thanks,
Rick

Years ago, I bought a really nice low mileage Cadillac with a pretty red leather interior. There were areas that were orange...I thought they had faded. I investigated closer and it was a build up of dirt on the leather surface. I couldn't find anything to cut this and so as a last resort, I tried ammonia. Some will croak at this but it took off the crud, got me back to the leather and then I used several applications of a leather conditioner and it was soft, supple and like new...

there might be better products on the market by now but the last time I cleaned leather to any extent (~50 years ago) saddle soap did the job.
