This is my fist spot by the gate. It has water, 50 amp electric, and sewer hookup. This spot just isn't too camp friendly.

This is the new spot. I've only planted some trees only.

While only a short distance from the house and barn I think this could be a nice campsite.

I'd like to see what others have done to have a backyard getaway.

Does a front yard getaway count? This was a few years ago, before we got our Barth.

Mine is behind an old commercial building I own in the Dallas Design District which has been divided up into artists studios and a workshop for my RV hobby.
I have 30/50amp electric, water and I use a macerator pump to reach the sewer line about 120ft from the campsite.

Right now, our backyard campsite is behind the barn, to hide from the County, who prohibit RV living on an unoccupied lot, and limit RV stays on a lot with an occupied house.

But, in reality, our backyard is an impromptu rifle range, going out 400 meters before the terrain climbs into the backstop that looks so close in the picture.

In front of the barn is a slab with 50A electric and water, with a 120 volt sewage pump to the septic system.

Thanks guys. I hadn't thought about a sewage pump to reach the septic.
Any more backyard campsites?

Steve, interesting artwork.
Interesting Wini too... all wheel steering ?!?!
I am aware of a couple cars that offered it. Did not know any motorhomes did.
Thinking of taking the Barth down to your neck of the woods to see stepdaughter in Mansfield. Last night I was reading reviews of Texan RV Ranch only six miles from her.

The Sunnybrook travel trailer is at Deerlick Astronomy Village near Raytown, GA (Not far from Sharon and Crawfordville). There are 30A and 50A outlets on the side of The Man Cave (40'x60' storage building):

Looking from the house towards the stone patio and mancave with firepit. Water and 50amp behind me. Situated so the RV is driven in (I'm at the front step when taking pic). Lake is 15' low in this pic.

I really like the stone patio Moonbeam.
I'd like some sort of shade structure for the backyard campsite. We are limited to 10'x12' or a permit has to be pulled.

Thanks!

Since this picture I've cut open the Airstream. It was my way around the permit process and restrictions building next to the lake.

I thought I'd seen that Airstream with a torpedo hit on the side! (So an RV with a hole in it is no longer an RV, nor permanent structure? Nice way to slip through the legal cracks!)

So does that total length on your rig allow for expansion on a hot day and still stay under 65 ft? Are there complications when you cross state lines or time zones? Must be weird to be an hour ahead in the coach and different zip codes... ROTFLMAO
