How can you tell if one has contributed recently.. Is there some sort of update symbol/last contribution date/etc..?

Oh..maybe its the date (just noticed that) listed next to your Avatar.. That works for me as I sent in my yearly dose in March..

maybe should think about dropping the 'Supporting member' badge after 2 years if not re-contributed? Bet that will go over like a lead balloon.. wack

'a buck a week' = 14 cents a day..
