If there is no line, I dump at a dump station. Nothing is as good as the FLOOOOOSH! you get with a full tank and a 3 inch hose. The macerator or Sewer Solution is for when I am at home or visiting near a cleanout. The only advantage of the macerator is it pumps uphill better than the SS. Its disadvantage is it is more costly and requires a 12 volt outlet. They can also freeze the shaft if left to dry out, so I have to flush it really well with fresh water, let it dry, and lube it.
