....but a male to male extension cord. Have been helping a friend for the last few days that has had a plumbing problem with his rv and during the course of things happened to mention the male-male cord discussion and he said, " i have one". Turns out i have been walking right by it and never noticed it......and the funny thing?, he is using it. Smiler

At the least, I hope proper attention is paid to polarity and grounding.

I own and made one.

Before I purchased a whole house generator with an automatic 200 amp transfer switch I use to backfeed my house from a portable gas welder (Rusty's welder is bigger Wink ) thru the 50amp electrical clothes dryer outlet. This setup worked well for any power outages we had.

You must first turn off the main so as not to backfeed up the pole.

If you don't know what you're doing (ask my wife) you could kill someone by using a male to male cord. You're not going to find one of these puppies with an UL stamp on it.

To paraphrase Oscar Wilde........"The Cord That Dare Not Speak Its Name".
