I ran across this diesel Barth at a used car lot. It is on consignment. The owner of the lot does not know who it belongs to. The owner purchased the car lot with the existing inventory, including the Barth and a Wanderlodge. He tried to contact the Barth owner by going through the tax commission using the license plate number. The person to whom the Barth belonged had died and the widow did not know anything about the motorhome. The same situation with the Wanderlodge - they don't know who it belongs to either. Strange - huh? I wanted to take some pictures of the interior of the Barth, but the car lot owner couldn't find the keys. The interior looks nice. It has a side aisle on the curb side. The motorhome looks to be about 40 feet long. The exterior paint is pretty faded. The tires are weatherchecked. I guess the Barth will sit there until someone comes along to claim it. Here are some exterior pictures.

What a shame. Looks like a nice coach but then again all Barth's look nice.

I have always wanted MH long enough for its own bowling alley. That side aisle could work.

What year do you estimate the rig to be?

Because of the hood over the windshield it makes it 1986 or later. I am guessing '87-'88. I suspect this is a Spartan chassis, but I wouldn't be surprized if it were a Hendrickson or something. It has 3 airs which would keep it nice an cool. I could go with this one easy enough.

If it is an '87 it's worth $40-48, if an '88 the value is $46-$55.
