Anybody know what year the wide body option was first offered?

Jim and TereIt was around 1988. I was 50 and expanded to a size 36 waist!!

In my case, the expansion appeared to be mandatory, rather than "an option offered".

olroyAnd all this time I thought I was the only one that happened to.
It may be something like a compression factor in my case, shorter and wider.
