We recently had a member who posted something about our current federal gov. administration. A follow up was made by another member who thought it was offensive.

I hate being one to "Censor" a post but in this case I'm sure that the response to the post would have been more over the top once the second poster decided that it was ok to use "Right Wing Nut" in his reply.

I'm not going to single either of them out like some type of public flogging event. So, if any of you are looking for drama, move along please.

Look people, it takes 2 wings for a bird to fly. Too much flapping from either side will make us fly around in circles.

Left Wing Über-Liberals and Right Wing Tea Party Patriots are flapping so hard that you just might tear this Eagle in two. Not good for our Country and not good for this site. Please gang, for my sanity, try to stay on topic.

The truely sad part of this is that we Americans have lost the ability to have a civil exchange of ideas concerning religion, politics and several other topics. Now days people will come to blows over Ford VS Chevy trucks. Until we relearn the ability to discuss topics without name calling and labeling, we will continue on a downward spiral as a culture. Only a nice guy like you would think that way Doug.

Shields Up If we go back in history, there's pretty good evidence that we've been this way for a while, ......er, Violence since we evolved from single celled organisms maybe. Shields Up

Just in the most recent times in our genetic past; extermination of Native Americans, War of Independence, Battles from individual states for religious freedom, Civil War, Civil Rights battles, burning of the bra (I really miss that one!) and so on. We love to fight for a cause, but the only ones that should be allowed on this site are - Ford vs. Chevy, DP vs. Gas, and the like.

Now if Rusty would just stop with all that Big Bang theory stuff cheers
