hi BARTHIES- i found a car DOCTOR in SEATTLE on Craigslist after buying my 21'no name '77 Barth. He put in a distributor and I got to Medford, Or. and had to put in a starter, then I got home to Roseville where I got the unit to pass smog. If it is 1975 or older no inspection needed in CA. The water tank I get back tomorrow, another $70 for welding the plastic. So far I'm into it nearly $7k, but I like it and hope to use it. I get a lot of info from this site and appreciate the comments. Ted M.

Hello Ted, I also have a 1975 Barth, hope you get to enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Thanks Mary-I have to fix furnace, gen, water heater, water tank then we can get on the road, maybe by late Jan.'15! For being 38 years old it is a very clean comfortable rig. I'm leary of the frig being all elec-115/12 volt. I've always liked the propane units. I may go later with two 6 volt golf cart batteries rather than my 12 volt single. Ted
