I have read all my books and still don't know what these switches are. Es = entry step but not sure of the rest

My guesses.

SL - Step Light
GR - Grab Rail
CL - ? Light (Closet, Center,Cabinet, Clearance)

On mine, I believe CL operates the overhead, or ceiling light. GR should be the light on the exterior grab rail with the Barth logo on it. ES is definitely for the steps...to keep them extended instead of closing each time the door is opened and closed. Without checking, I'm not certain, but I think Corey is right...that it turns the step light on or off (light hidden under the metal step unit).
