Winter storage for a diesel
I realize this is a bit late since I already stored my Barth for the winter but I want to know if I'm OK.
After I stored my Barth, I read that people put a fuel additive in their diesel tank before going into storage. I didn't. My unit is stored in an heated wharehouse where the temperature will not go below 45 deg Far. It is also dry and on a concrete floor. The tank is full.

Will I have any problems at the end of April when I go pick it up?

Thanks

You should be ok. On occasion you would want to add some type of water dispersant product like FPPF Fuel Power. If you’re storing your coach for use in the winter you would want to add an anti gelling additive.

Are you running bio diesel? I've heard some reports that fungus/bacteria is growing in some of the tanks. There's a product out there to treat that too.

I don't plan on used it this winter. So the first time I will start it again will be in about 5 months, at the end of april. I don't have access to it in the mean time, so starting it at regular interval is out of the question.
