What it takes to own a .......
Never mind a Barth, what does it take to own anything old? RV, plane, boat, lawn mower, the list just goes on.

I took this buyer caveat from an EBay ad for Jay Leno's old Neoplan conversion. I thought it was pretty funny, but perhaps a little off color.

"However, we do not sell to girly men, or lazy rah-tard's. Not to be mean (as I am accused by my wife), but this is not for the timid or weak. (Girly man screening test: hold hand in front of face, make fist, look at tips of fingernails, are they clean and smooth like a young girl? If yes, don't bid. ) (Lazy retard screening test: You have a flat tire with your lady, on the side of the interstate: Do you stand back and gaze in wonderment? If yes, don't bid) It is better to be harsh up front than have someone disappointed after the sale. Experience indicates that happy buyers of these type cars have type "A" personalities, with a "get it done yesterday" attitude.:

I have a 1950 Studebaker Champion and I can tell you a lot more about the underside of that car than I can the interior. Mad

DougZ,

There's a really great looking 41 Studebaker Champion for sale in New Port Richey on CL. Did you see it? Supposed to have just 65,000 miles on it.

I have seen the pictures of it and I can't understand why someone hasn't bought it yet. Even if the engine is frozen it's worth the asking price. All I can figure is that it might be a Bondo queen.

I'm not sure of the shape, but the colors are excellent for this body. What is yours finished in? Any pics?
