I don't remember any stores really close to the fairgrounds but we will have our toad so we can take you into town if you need.

I will also have a vehicle and would be glad to offer a ride any where you need to, we usually end up at the Walmart Super Center for one stop shopping, but also any other place you would like to go.

Thanks to all for the ride offers! Thumbs Up I may have to take someone up on their offer if need be. I try to keep Kathleen from overpacking the frig on every trip and this will be one of our longer trips out so far with Barth II. I don't know how I'm gonna do that this time around unless I convince her we can always go to the store. hmm It was one of the main reasons I was going to bring the cycle.

And not to single anyone out in particular, but Mary Ray I am REALLY looking forward to meeting you. After reading your posts for years and coming so close to meeting you at the DC GTG,hopefully it will finally happen. cheers
See 'ya all soon.

Basically here is some info about this camp site if you are a newbie not been here

1. Get good directions.

2. No coax cable TV

3. Long reach for black pipe so bring at least 20 feet and a cinder block or something to keep the stufff in place as the drain here is a slick blue pipe.

4. They close early time wise as to calling for directions so get that right. very few signs.

5 The people here are fans of the Barth and fantastic people.

6. If a newbie with questions, write them down so you do not leave without the answers

7. if you have a duoterm, dont put it on automatic as I just a heat wave here.

8Let us think about pooling some dollars to get a tour locally for parts. You are not going to find more RV parts anywhere in this country.

9. I need to pay someone for a shirt.

10. Barth owners come from all walks of live. They will be life long friends.

Guy next to me wanted to know why I wanted a Barth.

1. The outside is aluminum

2,. There is space on each side of this widebody to get in the bed without being a pretzel. Older people usually have to get up in the dark

3. QUALITY

4. level of engineering

5. Birds of feather to help you keep them going

There's a Walmart about 2 miles from the campground. (Left at the entrance, left on US 33, 1.5 miles on the left).

Lots of decent restaurants on that strip, also.

I can't wait to see Lee's fine Barth which was built right before mine. Assuming "Bertha" keeps running, I will be there early Thursday evening which is my 65th birthday.
