ccctimtationOn another site, my boating group, we have had a major scam attack today with the offer to buy out of the US. The following is the scam statement from one of the members: "Recently, I posted an ad to sell it. Now the reason I'm writing you is this, I received an e-mail this morning from a guy who is ready to buy it sight-unseen, send the "shipper" to get it, and send a certified check for the full price."
There is more but that is the gist, sellers beware.

Bill N.Y.Based on the quick check I did on his email and phone records I would suspect that he's alright... Just someone who hasn't done his homework when posting a For Sale Ad on Barthmobile.
Send the photos to bill_ny@barthmobile.com and I'll get them up for you.
You must also include a picture of the tag that looks like this too. I'll remove this ad by Sat if we have not received them.

Based on the paint scheme, it appears to be a Breakaway. Probably has been repainted.
The front end grill, lights and the dash show it to be from around 1977.

Jim and TereTalked to Rick, the owner. It is a '73, 454 powered, with a new transmission. New tires last summer. He bought it from an elderly man who camped in it for several summers. The generator does not work. Two roof mounted air conditioners. Think it's on a P30 chassis. Approx 72000 miles. Rick thinks the paint is original, but with that scheme, probably not. He will post some additional interior pics. Levelers there but don't work. Price, $6500. Floor plan, mid entry, kitchen sink/stove on curb side, frig and bath on street side, rear bed. Rick thinks there may have been a leak in the shower floor in the past but that it is not leaking now.
